[Under most circumstances, those who went to the Main Course at Hope's Peak were allowed to do as they pleased. They didn't have to go to class (though their home room teacher was good at gathering them together to do that anyway), they didn't have to pay attention to schedules...they didn't really have to do anything except hone their talents.
However, there is a strict curfew set in place, for those living at the dorms on campus. No hootenannies after 8pm, you crazy kids! Get in bed, you gotta sleep so you can work more on your talents tomorrow! Of course, not everyone really followed those rules. You had the SHSL Delinquent types who didn't listen to any authority unless they wanted to. (Or were super moral, like a certain SHSL Yakuza.) You had the SHSL Shady types that just liked being sneaky anyway. There was probably a SHSL Insomniac out there who got off Scott free because...well. Gotta hone their talent. (There's a SHSL Brocon why not?)
But there are also just those who were bold and daring and it had nothing to do with their talent and everything to do with the fact that they were stupid. Tanaka Gundam, SHSL Animal Breeder, was one of those kids. And the reason for this late night stupidity in particular is visiting someone in the girls' dorm.
Around one am, Sonia is going to hear some tapping at her window. Hopefully, if she's asleep, it'll be insistent enough to wake her up. Which might be a little weird. She's a couple floors up after all (not the top floor, but still nothing someone could reach without a ladder). How is anyone tapping at her window?
Well if she were to get up and look, she'd find a handsome raven doing the job, gently tapping at it with his beak until the Princess makes an appearance. And if she decided to open the window (which the bird would appreciate so he could rest) and look for the source of this raven (as if she couldn't guess), her boyfriend is standing on the ground underneath her window.]
My lovely queen-- [Thank goodness he knows better than to shout when trying to be sneaky, though he's not being super quiet.] --I have come to pay you a visit. The moon is baring its entire face tonight, meaning a meeting between us is destined to be.
[He's also, thankfully, not weighed down by any of his usual dumb fashion choices. Some jeans, a t-shirt, his bandages and scarf...he almost looks normal. Almost.]
[ Fortunately for the both of them, Sonia was still up by the time that he'd sent the raven for her. What with there being a pretty large time difference between Japan and Novoselic, it ended up being easier for her to stay up later so she could Skype with her parents for a short amount of time. She was having the time of her life being here during school, but that didn't mean she could shirk her duties back home. She missed her family, anyway. So it killed several birds with one stone.
She heard the tapping on the window, and didn't think much of it as she talked on the call, until she realized she wasn't exactly on an easy floor to get to. She excused herself for a moment, shutting off her camera and turning off the mic so she could go to the window to see what was the cause of the tapping.
Sonia opened the window to give the raven a reprieve. It was late for a bird like this to be out so late, so that could only mean...
As if on cue, she could hear Gundam only-slightly-quietly announcing his presence as she leaned over the windowsill and looked down. Well that was certainly one way to get her attention. ]
So I see! [ She ends up being louder than she wanted, and her voice comes in more hushed, but still loud enough for him to hear her ] I'll come down to receive you in a minute! It would be best to be closer, lest our enemies hear our darkest secrets via the window. [ And who knows might show up. Souda could try to "change her mind" again.
She ran a few fingers over the head of the raven a few times as a sign of appreciation for summoning her before ducking back into her room. She quickly gave her parents her goodbyes before ending the call, shutting her laptop and practically gliding downstairs to meet him outside. If she cared more, she probably would've changed out of her bear kigurumi. But here we are. ]
What brings you here? [ She's happy to see him, of course, but the fact that it's so late draws a little bit of concern from the princess. ] It's long past curfew; you have not been caught out, have you?
